Nabard initiatives are aimed to building an empowered and financially inclusive rural India. Actually Nabard works in 3 dimensions (3D) Financial, Developmental and Supervision. 

1. Provides refinance support to building rural infrastructure

2. Prepares district level credit plans to guiding and motivating the banking industry in achieving these targets

3. Supervise Cooperative Banks and Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) to helping them develop. 

4. Design new development schemes to the implementation of GoI’s development schemes

5. Provide training to handicraft artisans for marketing platform.

1. SHG Bank Linkage Project which is the world’s largest microfinance project.
